Don't Be Shy...

For those unfamiliar with my characters, this is Thorn, one of the heroes from my comic, The Challengers. He's basically just a anthropomorphic dragon.

I thought I should start showing my characters' personalities a bit, and practice expressions, so I made a few expression sheets for each of my characters. I ended up really liking how this one drawing of Thorn came out, so I went ahead and colored it.

Thorn's a rather shy, awkward, and timid character. His self-esteem is a bit low, he often sounds like he's afraid to talk, and litters his speech with pauses and "ums". But beneath the shell, he's loyal, compassionate, and just wants to be a good person.

Despite his soft nature, Thorn's more than willing to fight against those who would hurt others, and can be quite the fierce fighter, using his claws and teeth as his primary weapons.

EDIT: I fixed the "hair over the eye" thing. I kinda went for middle ground and made the hair a bit transparent to preserve the colors and highlights. Hope it looks better now.
